During Ice out last year fishing big pike, I was frustrated and couldnt get them to take anything even hitting them in the head a couple times. Tied on tandem rig bubble gum hogey and tossed it weightless into the shallows, twitched a few times and BAM! After that I was into 30 to 40 inch fish the rest of the day!
