Weighted Grip Hooks:
Some anglers prefer a little extra weight when fishing in moving water or rolling surf, especially when fishing with lighter baits. These hooks have two barbs that really grip the bait.
- Easy to rig - Big game strong - Baits won't slide

I went out on my b-day out of San Diego on a over night to do some tuna fishing so when we got there we started fishing. So I rigged a 10in hogy and casted on my second cast I hooked in to a 65lb blue fin that took me around the boat a couple of times, and I had a great time.
There was this long floating dock that had tarpon laying up under it. They would come up and gulp air and ambush bait as it came by in the current. I figured out where the were rising then I would cast hogy with a worm hook in it on to the dock and wait for them to come up. When they did I would flip the hogy of the dock right on top of them. They would slam it every time. Only problem was the hogy was trashed. It was over 85 degrees and they would get real soft. Even tore them up trying to put hook in hogy. Was able to fish this for a solid month with all kinds of baits that would get a strike or two. But the hogys always got hit. I ran out of hogys after my fist 3 days 21 Tarpon strikes with 12 landed
